Starkly Beautiful - Icy Cold
Reykjavik, Iceland
In Reykjavik we skipped the city and went for a delightful and long walk in one of their national parks.
And waterfalls...
There was lunch with homemade leek soup and several things I didn’t recognize, and then a walk through another park. This one with hot springs and geysers.
and on to djupivogur
Again we skipped the city in favor of an adventure. This time in 4-wheel drive vans with huge tires - a good thing considering we drove through a few streams, um, rivers actually, and I was in the very back seat. It was a bit of a bumpy ride.
And that was Iceland...
